BREAKING: Major National Newspaper Admits They Will Print Trump’s Lies, “Even If They Know He’s Lying”WRITTEN BY LOU COL 1/2/2017 published by truthexaminer.com
In the presidential arena never before has there been an individual like President-elect Donald Trump who so deftly and shamelessly offers his version of the truth. Due to this the media has found itself confused on how to deal with Trump, as printing he is a liar on a daily basis does not seem to be the correct tact to take. Or is it? One conservative journalist, however, has said he has no interest in defusing or refuting Trump’s political speech. The curious point was made by Gerald Baker, the editor in chief of The Wall Street Journal, a widely read right-leaning publication. Baker said

Baker said
“I’d be careful about using the word, ‘lie.’ ‘Lie’ implies much more than just saying something that’s false. It implies a deliberate intent to mislead…I think it’s then up to the reader to make up their own mind to say, ‘This is what Donald Trump says. This is what a reliable, trustworthy news organization reports. And you know what? I don’t think that’s true.’ I think if you start ascribing a moral intent, as it were, to someone by saying that they’ve lied, I think you run the risk that you look like you are, like you’re not being objective.”
KBP> Lies are now deemed personal expression (?) without debate or introduction of actual cited truth to counterbalance a Trump statement??? Objectivity has flown out the window and propaganda rules at the WSJ!!!
Mike Alalof> Some of Trump’s Greatest Lies: (Revised: I just can’t keep up)
I will make America great again
Trust me, believe me
I have the best brain
Every body loves me
Mexico will pay for the wall
Obama was born in Kenya
Hillary started the birther movement, I ended it
I will donate 5 million dollars to charity if Obama was born in the United States
Hillary Clinton wants to abolish the second amendment
I sent my investigators to Hawaii to investigate Obama’s birth certificate. You won’t believe what they found.
Obama faked his way into Harvard
I saw thousands and thousands of people (Muslims) dancing and cheering in New Jersey when the Towers came down.
I had hundreds of friends killed in those towers.
I saw people jumping out of the tower windows. (from 4 miles away)
I am under an audit from the IRS
Our veterans in many cases, are being treated worse than illegal immigrants.
I was totally against the war in Iraq.
If Iran’s little boats gives us the finger, our Destroyers will blow them out of the water.
I will release my tax returns
I will drain the swamp
I give millions to charity
You don’t learn much from a tax return
The economy is a disaster
Our foreign policy is a disaster
The number of illegal immigrants could be 3 million or 30 million
I know more about ISIS than the generals do
I has made a lot of sacrifices by building structures
The unemployment rate is more like 10, 15, 25, some even say 40%
I saved thousands of jobs for “Carrier” workers.
(And of course) I’m an honest business man and never lie.
KBP> Really?! The editor of the Wall Street Journal thinks that the word ‘LIE’ is a hot tomale, that since it means false statements said with intent to mislead – which is the total definition of anything out of -elect’s mouth and/or tweets, ummm, but then the editor told Chuck Todd on Meet the Press (1/1/2017) that he thinks using the L word makes reporting less objective???? WTH?? How much is he in the take for? I will never pick up the rag again and never quote anything from it. He has just informed the whole world that the WSJ is a parakeet cage liner! And that he was easily bought off by DJT – hold on to your hats boys, 2017 looks like it too will be explosive!
Trisha Shendelman Margulies> This is walking down a very dangerous road, dragging opinion into fact. Truth is not up [to] the individual. Then the WSJ becomes just another propaganda machine.
William Trusty>”Truth is not up to the individual” Exactly. Thank you.
Jade Rango> I will not read this paper again then. Was just ready to renew my online sub…..now will not. Vanity Fair is telling the truth. I’ll read that.to someone by saying that they’ve lied, I think you run the risk that you look like you are, like you’re not being objective.”
